The neighborhood
168 SE 1st Street sits at the seam between Downtown Miami and Brickell — three blocks from Brickell City Centre, two blocks from the Brickell Metromover, walking distance from the Miami Riverwalk. The block is dense and modern; the building is glass-front with secured lobby entry and elevator access to the 10th floor. Plenty of lunch options within a five-minute walk for applicants flying in for the morning and heading back out the same day.
Most Miami applicants shoot in Brickell because it's central — equidistant from the University of Miami / Miller School in Coral Gables and Jackson Memorial in the Health District, easy from Miami Beach via the I-395 / MacArthur Causeway, walkable from Brickell condos.
Getting here
By Metromover
- Knight Center Station — 4 minutes on foot.
- Bayfront Park Station — 5 minutes on foot.
- Third Street Station — 3 minutes on foot.
By Metrorail
- Government Center (Orange / Green Line) — 8 minutes on foot, or one stop on the Metromover.
- Brickell Station — 12 minutes on foot, or three stops on the Metromover.
By car
Driving into Downtown Miami works well outside rush hour. Parking garages are abundant on SE 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Streets. The closest garages charge $10–$20 for a couple of hours. Ride-share drop-off is straightforward at the building's curb on SE 1st Street.
From Miami International (MIA)
20–35 minutes by ride-share depending on traffic. The Metrorail (Orange Line) from MIA to Government Center is a 25-minute trip if traffic is bad — sometimes faster than driving.

Who shoots here
The Miami studio sees a heavier mix of fellowship applicants and IMGs than the New York studios. Brickell is a frequent landing spot for applicants flying in from Latin America and the Caribbean — Bogotá, San Juan, Caracas, Havana, Santiago — who want a same-day ERAS file before flying back the next morning. We work with a lot of weekend bookings from out-of-town applicants.
